Rifat studied Marine Science for his Bachelor’s Degree at Jendral Soedirman University in Purwokerto, Central Java. He joined Misool Foundation as an intern and worked his way up to become their Marine Conservation Programme
Coordinator, his last position before joining us. At the Anambas Foundation, he oversees all restoration and conservation projects, the marine debris database, RHM, mangrove conservation, BRUV and KELAUT activities.
