It is surrounded by beautiful clear waters and rises up to a high point of 150 meters with three peaks to set the hilly landscape. The vegetation varies from coconut and palm trees to a dense jungle canopy on the upper slopes with many species of trees providing dramatic experiences to explore, offering great hiking and island adventure. The coast is the fine beach, with some rocky hillsides interrupting the white sandy stretches. Islands of mangroves fringe the still lagoon area and provide homes to the fruit bats that wander on to Bawah herself at night.
